Our first impressions to a guest are that she is tall, beauty, and taciturn. She is seemed to be anxious about the absence of the elder son. The guest became the nice woman having lovely smile, after taking hot spring with us in Minakami. This change made us relief although we have been anxious about everyday meal. She tried to "Sashimi" which she hesitate to eat. Furthermore, she help to cook "tempura". We enjoyed these six days with other host families. Thank you for giving us this home stay.
When we decide to accept a guest, our two sons play role of taking care of him. It was very big task for them in several events as well as in the house works. They managed to do well. Thank you very much for giving us a interesting experience. We appreciated that the volunteers assist this home stay.(Mother) I am very happy to communicate with him, but feel anxious at first( son ).
A guest who came to home stay was super cool and gentle. I felt happy when he made sense of my talking. I would have spoken him. The days of home stay passed very quickly, but It was very enjoyable. I want to meet him again. Thank you very much, SVC.
I intend to inform my children a acceptance of a guest. They got angry due to our misunderstanding. Especially, the elder daughter refuse a cooperation of the home stay. dddReally so in language. We should do well whatever guest came to home. A young man in our home is a well-developed and challenging to Japanese life. It was very good experience for children and us, though there is a wall of the language.
As saying international exchange program, it seems to be very formal and difficult. We consider that this opportunity is very close to us and give us a broad view. In the day for preparing the acceptance of a guest, we annoy anything. After guest join to our family, it became free from care and very delightful. These days, the daughter is so dull that she was scolded. It was our daily life. We found that the best way was to take care the guest like our daughter. We would like to express special thanks to organizing committee and parents' association.
This was the second acceptance of a guest. For the preparation of this event, we bought two books of German conversation in advance. However, We were relieved to communicate by using English. There was a trouble in the meal. We mainly supply the bread since the guest hardly had Japanese foods. The talking about Germany was very enjoyable for us.
Though it was very anxiously about language and meals before the acceptance of a guest, it was very glad that the guest could eat almost of all preparing meals. Concerning the language, we would have drilled it more. We made efforts to communicate each other. Many happy memories were made enough. The farewell was a little lonely. We want accept a guest again. By all means, try it ,everybody.
We made plenty of fine memories and happy experiences, though we confuse how we spend six days . I shared the life in our home, and he experienced various things also. The conversation depend on the first son. He learned living English conversation. The second son have concentrated in a game which was taught by the guest. The third son says, "I meet him again." Germany is beautiful country, isn't it. Our dream is to go Germany.
There was some anxiety for us because our doughtier was absent for the dispatch to Germany. In other word, however, the acceptance of the guest give all family members an experience of the international exchange, while only a person do so in dispatch program. The guest is as same old as our daughter. He is like nice elder brother for our sons. We felt six days very short. As I had work in week days, my father took charge of transfer and, my mother prepare lunch and do daily care. We considered that the guest was not "guest" but "one person of the family". An English word is OK for the conversation by keeping dictionary in the one-hand. Please try an experience of the host family by all means, everybody, in the next time without pulling step back!
WANTED Male, tall, 15-year-old, and slender. Characteristics are Glasses and fair complexion. He speaks German, and looks like foreigner. He likes play-station and pizza very much. From this view, his taste is similar to that of Japanese children. He disappeared after leaving nice memory and perfume. If you find him, please give him a message; we are looking forward to meeting you again.
The guest is a boy aged 16, who likes Cola. He confused when he missed his passport in his room. In the fish catch at Minakmi, he could not touch a fish because he hate it. And he was pro-Japanese. He is proud of his judo uniform. He and our children became friendly at last and play TV-games. He left a nice memory of the summer holiday for our family,
Guest is a leader, aged 59 years old. Though acceptance period was short, we spent very happy days. We sincerely appreciate cooperation of club member and their parents to fulfill various events. And, we expect the second exchange program. We hope many families join this program.
